Chess 2 is the sequel to world famous board game popular with pseudo-intellectuals, Chess 1. Chess 2 offers the same high levels of strategic gameplay of Chess 1 with modern improvements such as a more accessible control method and automatic scoring. Eliminate all of the opposing pieces to attain victory, but be warned that the pieces backed into a corner might not go quietly...

The Pieces

  The Pawn: Reliable and plentiful but with no special abilities.

  The Knight: Increased power and greatly increased speed. The Knight has the ability to become intangible for a short period after movement.

  The Bishop: Increased power and speed. The Bishop has the ability to fire bolts in four directions which launch pieces away, activated on a fast enough collision.

  The Rook: Increased power and speed. The Rook has the ability to launch away clusters of enemies, activated on a fast enough collision.

  The Queen: Greatly increased speed. The Queen has the abilities of both the Bishop and the Rook.

  The King: Increased power. The presence of the King boosts the power of friendly pieces around them and their resistance to the special abilities of other pieces.
